On the 21st of March, municipal elections will be held throughout the Netherlands; which means that our community of valuable expats could be also allowed to vote here in Rijswijk. The VVD Rijswijk, a
local branch of the party that is delivering the prime minister of the
Netherlands for the last 8 years, is calling out to you, all people who don’t
have the Dutch nationality but still provide valuable services to our
communities. We want you to feel welcome in Rijswijk. We want to make
information from the municipality and about events clear and available for our
expats. Simply because you are part of our community and contribute to help
make Rijswijk a nice place to live. The VVD Rijswijk wants to keep Rijswijk
that way: a city were everybody is able to get the same fair chances, with low
taxes, were working pays off!
To vote, remember to
take your ‘’stempas’’ with you, if you didn’t get your stempas yet, don’t
forget to notify the municipality! Also bring an official declaration of
residence with you or your passport/identity card. Polling stations will be
open from 07:30 till 21:00 on the 21st.
